Bohemia offers a range of landscapes to experience, from the hills of the north to the lowlands of the south and the low mountains that form sections of the border regions with Austria, Germany, and Poland.
The hills and valleys of the north contrast with the well-cultivated lands of the south. South Bohemia has seen very little industrial development in its history; as such, much of its land is protected and continues to serve agricultural and aquacultural purposes, as it has for centuries.
